Evergreen shrub with many erect, cane-like stems resembling bamboo.
Lime green foliage turns burgundy in winter.
Small insignificant flowers in summer are followed by spectacular red berries through autumn and winter.
One of the toughest and most adaptable plants, its berry-laden branches provide a pleasing vertical accent to the garden

This plant is a great landscaping and hedging plant due to the ever- changing leaf colour and dense foliage. (denser foliage if pruned)
In the nursery this plant looks very average in the pot and is therefore really
under unrealized, but don’t let that stop you buying them.
They look great if trimmed a little, almost bullet proof.
